1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Clipmind ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. Clipmind is a personal project operated by Ryan Nam.
2. Description of Service
Clipmind is a free web application that allows you to save links and notes, organize them into collections, and search across your saved content using semantic search.
3. Your Account
You must sign in with a valid Google account to use Clipmind. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it.
4. Your Content
You retain ownership of all content you save to Clipmind. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store and process your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. We do not claim ownership of your clips, notes, or collections.
5. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure.
- Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or abuse the Service in a way that disrupts others.
- Upload or store content that violates third-party intellectual property rights.
6. Availability
Clipmind is provided as a beta service. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without notice.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free or that your data will never be lost. You are responsible for maintaining your own backups of important content.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ryan Nam shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of or inability to use the Service.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
